I backed into one of the tracks for my garage door and mangled it pretty thoroughly. Robert showed up fast and repaired the damaged railing (which I was certain would require replacing) in no time, just charging me for a $99 service charge. Couldn't ask for more.

It went very smoothly. The tech was very friendly and safe and made no attempt to push anything on us. He replaced the springs and the wheels in about an hour and everything is working perfectly now. Our spring happened to break on a day when they were having a "spring special" so the price was very good.

So, I recently purchased a 2 year old house and discovered that, although my garage door opener worked, it would open randomly on its own and sometimes when we weren't home! Yikes! I did a Google search and found a company to come out and assess the situation. They guy who they sent gave off major shady vibes right from the start and without even looking at or testing the system, he told me my aluminum door was too heavy for the existing opener and it would be $600 to $5000 to replace it! I told him I'd have to think about it and sent him on his way.... Then I found GARAGE DOOR MEDICS. I was impressed with their company's mission statement on their website that tells the consumer "We don't recommend things that you don't need". Honesty and integrity go a long way with me. They sent me Rick, one of their techs the very next day. I received confirmation emails and texts re my appointment, and even a mini-bio on our service tech Rick. The initial diagnostic visit is $99 and was definitely worth it. He took his time examining our system and ended up re-mounting the sensors to the walls instead of the rails (where they were previously mounted) thus eliminating the shifting sensors which interrupted the laser connection. So, no more phantom openings of our garage door. He was able to complete this all for just the $99 fee. Super professional and conscientious, knowledgeable and friendly. Will be recommending to our real estate agent as well as anyone else in need of garage door service or repairs. GARAGE DOOR MEDICS AND OUR TECH RICK KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! So refreshing to find a company with such integrity and professionalism these days! 10 stars plus!!! Thanks so much!

IMPRESSIVE. WE ARE CONTRACTORS SO CUSTER SERVICE IS ALSO IMPORTANT TO OUR BUSINESS. FROM THE FIRST PHONE CALL TO THE END OF THE JOB EVERYONE IN THIS COMPANY DID A GREAT JOB. WE WERE GIVEN A COMPLETE AND THOROUGH EXPLANATION OF THE REPAIRS AND COST SO IT WAS EASY TO MAKE A DECISION ON WHAT TO DO WITH THE GARAGE DOOR. THEY EVEN SENT PICTURES AS WE WERE NOT ON SITE. WE DECIDED ON THE REPAIRS AND IT WORKED OUT GREAT. WITHOUT A DOUBT WE WILL USE THEM AGAIN.

Preston's was our Garage Door Medics person. He called and arrived in 20 mins. He was friendly and explaining what was the issue and the other issues with door that we weren't aware of. He also applied a senior discount to help reduce the final cost. Very pleased with his service performance .
