Arrived to property in El Cajon and customer stated that door was hit by vehicle. Found bottom and 2 intermediate sections damaged with roller on right side looking out out of track. Set roller back in to track, straightened sections as best as I could, lubricated and tightened all necessary hardware and after further inspection found springs fatigued and door sections require struts to straighten further. Customer requested estimates for replacement parts, replacement sections and new door purchase. Tested all safety systems and door/operator running optimally at this time minus estimated parts needed to be replaced. If return by 04-30-20 to install estimated parts, service fee to return will be waived.
We are submitting this proposal to help with the needed repairs at Oakdale Apartments. Estimate to install anew ENEMA 4 enclosure to be able to protect all of the electronics from getting vandalize, we will be installing a new radio receiver, a wireless keypad, and a commercially rated padlock. Upon completion, we will make sure to test all functions for proper operations. 1815 will be the new code.
Door was jammed against frame, due to tenants attempt to try and take out the four inch lag holding spring tension on one piece door. I was able to release the motor, and get the door open. Reanchored the lag and did my best to straighten the arms. The motor was installed incorrect by the property management. The rail needs to be installed properly. Due to tenant paying for work today, they are not paying for a motor reinstall.
Replaced single spring system with a two spring system, due to major fatigue on old spring. Lube and tune service

Checked entire door, would recommend a two spring system in the future. Lube and tune. Door was squealing when closing. I adjusted tracts. Could not see any issues.

Rewraped the cable on left side, without having to reset torsion system. Lube and tune service. New universal liftmaster remote.

Added tension on Bay 7 to finish out the previous work order.
Arrived to property in El Cajon for annual maintenance check up. Customer stated that remote range starting to diminish. Testing proved that internal receiver starting to go bad and dropping range. Customer agreed to new external receiver. Installed all parts, lubricated and tightened all necessary hardware, tested all safety systems and door/operator running optimally at this time. Next recommended tune up service March 2021.

Arrived to property in El Cajon and customer stated that inspector ran operator while door had slide lock engaged and caused structural damage to all sections. Created estimates to fix current door, replace sections and full door/operator replacement. Emailed estimate to fix and replacement estimates should be emailed by next business day. No work performed while on site and no charge to customer.
Door off track full open position
Installed new travel module which we verified it is working and good. Customers unit has same issue. Must be bad board. Model of craftsman is a 139.3043 beltdrive craftsman. Multisales informed me chamberlain doesn't manufacture those parts for craftsman anymore. Only option I have for customer at this point is a new motor head as we dont install non OEM manufacturers parts. Part number on board is 41DCBC3A.
Returned to install travel module. Motor is on and goes thru all stages of programming and it seems to be working but still giving travel module code. Per conversation with customer, will return tomorrow with new travel module and opener head in case that fails again because it would be cheaper than the cost of both the travel module/board. If we open a board we have to buy it. Symptoms dont sound like a bad board. No charge today per tech

Arrival 1028am. Need to return to add tension to springs. Will need 24' extension ladder. Also needs new #1 hinges as they had bent and a broken hinge.
Arrived 530pm. Motor wont move from open position. Error 15. Motor control. Wont move while in programming mode either. Sounds like a bad travel module. Will confirm part cost and availability tomorrow. Estimate will need to be made and customer rescheduled. He has availability this saturday. No charge per tech.
Sensors misaligned. Broken #1 hinge. Lube and tune done. Door working well.
Freying cables were replaced today, lube and tune service.
